Nestled in the heart of the Georgian Quarter, this Art Deco inspired Hotel offers an indulgent stay, perfect for a romantic trip away or a girls weekend. Its warm, home away from home atmosphere is perfect for anyone who truly values being able to unwind when travelling. With 55 beautifully unique rooms and suites to choose from, The Leinster combines timeless sophistication with contemporary luxury, offering a boutique hotel experience sure to elevate any city trip.

Read below to find out how we spent our 24 hour stay – and everything you need you know.

THE LOCATION

Nestled in the heart of Dublin’s beautiful Georgian Quarter, The Leinster has the perfect balance between accessibility and exclusivity. The surrounding streets are lined with beautifully preserved Georgian townhouses, giving the neighbourhood a timeless elegance that feels quintessentially Dublin. While the area has a sense of calm, it’s super close to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Trinity College, home to the world-famous Book of Kells, is just a ten-minute walk away, and the famous Merrion Park is just down the road.

For those looking to shop or explore, Grafton Street — Dublin’s premier shopping destination — is a stone’s throw away (around 10 mins walk) offering everything from high-end boutiques to charming local stores. Despite its central location, inside, The Leinster feels like a secluded haven, allowing guests to enjoy the best of Dublin without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Spend 24 Hours with us at The Leinster

“Located in characterful Georgian Quarter, the Art Deco inspired @theleinsterdublin offers the ultimate city stay, perfect for a romantic getaway or cosy weekend trip.

We stayed in The Corner Room. All 55 rooms create a home away from home feel, with bespoke furnishings and rich colours to create a cosy ambience. Our room included a king sized bed, bar area, living space, floor to ceiling windows (this room maximises on views, positioned on the corner of the hotel) a rainfall shower and Netflix for staying in.

Dining:
The stunning @jeangeorgesdublin is positioned on the top floor of the hotel, offering stunning views of Dublin. You can dine here for breakfast, lunch and dinner while enjoying a variety of Irish Classics with French and Southeast Asian Flavours. The Vegan Bolognese and Parmesan Chicken were to die for!”

CHECKING IN

From the moment we stepped through the front door, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately put us at ease — just what we needed after a morning of travel! The reception area strikes a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern sophistication, with clear nods to the Art Deco era, while contemporary touches (such as the striking Damien Hirst piece behind the front desk) add an elevated feel to the space. The check-in process was seamless, conducted with a level of care and attention that set the tone for the rest of our stay.

We learned about how the Hotel celebrates Irish Artists – with over 300 pieces of artwork throughout the property, creating an almost gallery-like feel. Before heading to our Corner Room, we made a quick stop at The Collins Club for a coffee, while our luggage was taken to our room. The attitude towards hospitality at The Leinster really sets a standard. Every interaction was friendly, warmth and attentive, creating a sense of comfort and familiarity before we even got into the room. Hotel Amenities: Two Restaurants/bars, Luxury Gym facilities, Event Space (up to 160 guests).

The Corner Room at The Leinster is positioned on the corner of the building, benefiting from 180-degree views of Dublin –  framed by large windows that provide lots natural light. The rich colours, unique fabrics and vintage style furnishings reinforced that sense of Art Deco glamour – creating a feeling of opulence and maximum comfort. The room included a king sized bed, living area, fully stocked bar and rainfall shower.

Although the space feels like you’ve gone back in time, the mod-coms provide that elevated level of indulgence, with a Smart TV (Netflix etc), Nespresso Machine and TOTO Toilet (to name a few!). Small yet thoughtful touches also deserve a mention – including Irish must-try spirits and drinks in the mini bar, locally sourced chocolates and an essentials kit for every eventuality!

DINNER AT JEAN-GEORGES

Jean-Georges Vongerichten, a globally renowned chef, has established iconic dining destinations around the world, and his Dublin outpost is no exception. Situated on the top floor of The Leinster, Jean-Georges offers a chic and sophisticated setting, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The design is stunning, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that frame panoramic views of Dublin from all directions, while the interiors create an elevated dining experience. A spacious terrace with heating and cosy seating is available year-round, making it an ideal spot to soak in the surroundings, whatever the weather.

For dinner, the menu showcases Jean-Georges’ signature style: a masterful blend of global influences and local Irish ingredients. Our favourite dishes included the Parmesan Chicken and Vegan Bolognese – truly unique. The wine list was equally impressive, offering an extensive selection of labels, from smaller vineyards to celebrated classics, ensuring the perfect pairing for every dish. The attentive staff added to the experience with seamless service and excellent recommendations – with in depth knowledge and understanding of every single dish.

DRINKS AT THE COLLINS CLUB

The Leinster’s cocktail lounge, The Collins Club transports you back in time, creating the ultimate speakeasy feel. The restaurant, bar and super club takes its name from the late David Collins – a renowned Irish Architect. The rich colours and dimly lit bar creates a sultry atmosphere from day to night, with every details speaking to the Art Deco style (the arches framing the windows are from the original building). This intimate space creates a sophisticated feel, but still feels welcoming – with options to dine through the day, grab a coffee, or enjoy an evening of cocktails from their extensive menu.

In the evenings you can enjoy a slightly different vibe at The Collins Club – they have music from 5pm and DJs from 9pm every Friday and Saturday. This month you can also try the Champagne Cha Cha Brunch – with a glass on arrival, brunch menu and crafted cocktails.

WHY STAY?

With timeless design, modern amenities, and stunning city views, The Leinster exudes sophistication at every turn – but the warm experience sets it apart. The hotel creates a home away from home -both through room comforts and welcoming, attentive staff, making it perfect for those looking to fully unwind in what feels like, a private setting.

For a truly memorable visit, be sure to book dinner at Jean-Georges Rooftop Restaurant, followed by a nightcap at The Collins Club.

This might just be the most luxurious stay in Dubai!
💫 From the moment we arrived @fsdubai check-in felt like coming home - seamless, personalized, and made extra special by the incredible staff.
🌊 We stayed in the stunning Sea‑View Suite, complete with two balconies offering panoramic views, one even had sunbeds for private sun-soaking sessions.
🌴 We spent the day by the beautiful pool with our own private, air-conditioned cabana, which was the perfect escape from the summer heat.
🍸 Dinner at @joujoudubai was a highlight - think lobster butter prawns, perfectly grilled sea bass, and an apple tart we’ll definitely be returning for.
☕️ Before heading to afternoon tea at @shai_salon we indulged in a massage and facial at the Pearl Spa - the ultimate way to wrap up a blissful weekend. *You must check out the indoor pool, beautiful & so peaceful.*
Whether you’re craving relaxation, luxury, or just a little escape, this is the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve checked out. Until next time. ✨
