THE LOCATION

FIVE Luxe is ideally located in the picturesque Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), one of Dubai’s most iconic waterfront communities, offering a vibrant mix of residential, leisure, and entertainment options. Just a 30-minute drive from Dubai Airport, it provides  easy access for international travellers, while Dubai Marina is a mere 10-minute drive away.

Located on the beautiful shores of the Arabian Gulf, the hotel boasts a lively atmosphere, with many attractions in walking distance including The Walk ( lined with chic boutiques, restaurants, and cafes). The area is a popular destination for both tourists and residents, thanks to its proximity to major attractions like Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island. Whether you’re looking for a laid-back day at the beach, a shopping spree, or fine dining, JBR provides the perfect setting for a bit of everything.

CHECKING IN

Our stay began with a smooth and welcoming check-in. We entered the grand lobby, and after a swift check in process the attentive staff took us up to our ‘Gorgeous One Bedroom Suite’ to ensure we had everything we needed. The suite exuded luxury, complete with a living area, king-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe and his and hers bathroom.

The views from the private balcony were incredible – stretching across to Bluewaters Island – the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. The attention to detail needs its own mention – from the bubbly on ice to the personalised robes, the FIVE Luxe know how to make you feel right at home.

WET CHERRY EVENT

The event package includes pool access, a three-course meal, and unlimited drinks, perfect for long days in the sun (not to mention an all-day DJ). Firming itself as a go-to within the Dubai Beach Club scene, Playa Pacha brings a cool aesthetic, an electric atmosphere and all-day Ibiza classics.

Although the main pool is open to day visitors, guests of the hotel can also enjoy access to the private pool – here you can still enjoy the music during events but avoid the busier areas.

DINNER AT RONIN

For dinner we headed to Ronin, FIVE Luxe’s Japanese restaurant. With stunning views of the city skyline and Arabian Gulf, offering an elevated dining experience, with authentic Japanese flair. Guests can enjoy the live cooking action from the teppanyaki counter and watch the chefs at work on the sushi bar from their tables.

Taking you on a culinary journey, the menu featured an array of refined Japanese dishes, from Miso Soup to Chicken Yaki Tori (we loved the Wagyu Tacos). The service was amazing, while the indoor-outdoor space provided stunning views across to Bluewaters Island. This spot is perfect for dinner and drinks to get the night started – there’s even a couple of private dining options if it’s for a special occasion.

DRINKS AT PARADISO

After dinner, we headed to Paradiso Dubai,  voted the best bar in the world in 2022, the renowned venue has opened its door in Dubai. Originally from Barcelona, it has garnered international fame for its boundary-pushing mixology and creativity.

The Dubai spot brings that same inventive spirit to the city, elevating the mixology scene with its extensive cocktail list – we were spoilt for choice. From vibrant colours to unexpected creative designs, the drinks brought theatre and flavour. The setting was no less impressive, creating a unique, circus inspired aesthetic that felt unlike anything else in the city.

WELLNESS AT REFIVE

After the most restful nights sleep we headed to ReFive for a little R & R to conclude our stay. The luxury spa is a must-visit, offering a variety of treatments from facials to IV drips. The therapists take great care to personalise your experience, working to tailor the treatment to your needs.

The spa experience was the perfect way to finish our stay at FIVE Luxe. After a day of sun, fun, and indulgence, we left feeling refreshed and well rested.
