Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach Dubai UAE

Inside Look: Four Seasons Jumeirah

11 July 2025

When it comes to timeless luxury in Dubai, few names hold the same weight as Four Seasons, beyond the postcard-perfect beachfront setting and refined service, this stay meant something more, it was our first trip as a family.

ARRIVAL WITH EASE

Set along a private stretch of Jumeirah Beach, the resort strikes a rare balance between city access and coastal calm. With the buzz of Downtown Dubai just minutes away and the tranquillity of the Arabian Gulf on your doorstep, it’s perfectly placed for people seeking the best of both worlds: vibrancy and serenity in equal measure.

Check-in felt more like a welcome home than a formality. From the front desk to the door team, everyone knew our names and our plans during our stay. As new parents navigating travel for the first time, that level of attention made all the difference. The service wasn’t just professional, it was personal.

THE SUITE LIFE

Our home for the weekend was the Four Seasons Sea-View Suite, a space that felt more like a private residence than a hotel room. Elegant interiors flowed across a grand bedroom and living space, each opening onto their own balconies. From one, sun loungers overlooked the sea and the serene garden pool scape below. From the other, a shaded outdoor space made the perfect spot for a morning coffee or watching the sunset.

It was the personal touches that made the difference: a welcome cake, a cot already prepared, baby bath amenities, and a handwritten message across the tub welcoming us as a family.

THE PERFECT CABANA
& POOL DAY

We kicked off the stay with a stay by heading poolside which felt like discovering a hidden paradise within the resort, private, beautifully designed, and effortlessly relaxing. The day was made even better by our choice to spend the day it in one of the resort’s private cabanas. Tucked just beyond the main pool, our cabana was a fully self-contained retreat, perfect for navigating the Dubai heat.

Inside, the space was air-conditioned, fitted with its own TV, and styled like a chic outdoor living room. There was a private dining area for lazy lunches, an outdoor rain shower and a mini bar stocked with soft drinks, waters, and fresh juices. A welcome fruit platter added a thoughtful touch and came just when we needed a little refresh.

For our son, the shaded comfort made a world of difference. The staff even set up a cot within the cabana so we could fully relax while keeping him close by. It’s rare to find a setup that balances luxury, practicality, and privacy so seamlessly, but this felt like the ultimate way to slow down and enjoy the day.

Sunsetting on a perfect day by the pool, we headed back to the suite. The sky had turned a deep purple, one of those classic Dubai evenings. We sat out on the balcony with a drink, taking it in before getting ready for dinner.

DINNER AT JOU JOU

We dined at Jou Jou, the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, offering a refined yet relaxed setting for dinner. The interiors were warm and inviting, with thoughtful design details that echo the Four Seasons’ signature style.

The meal unfolded with a series of small sharing dishes. We started with cod croquettes, prawns sautéed in lobster butter, and the burrata with seasonal vegetables and pesto was the perfect palate cleanser.

For mains, a beautifully cooked tenderloin with velvety mashed potatoes alongside a flaky grilled sea bass both faultless and full of flavour.

A perfect evening was topped off with what we can only describe as the best dessert we’ve had in Dubai this year: a crisp apple tart, caramelised to perfection and paired with vanilla ice cream that melted just slowly enough. The dish you order “to share” but secretly hope not to.

A SEAMLESS START

The bed delivered exactly what you’d expect from Four Seasons, real comfort. The suite was blissfully quiet, and the blackout blinds worked almost too well, the kind that convince you it’s still 5.00am when it’s nearly 9.00am. After a great meal the night before, we woke up fully reset and ready for breakfast.

Breakfast itself was a calm and refined affair, the kind of start to the day you quietly hope for. The spread offered the best of both worlds: a beautifully arranged buffet with golden pastries, fresh seasonal fruit, cold-pressed juices, and homemade granola, paired with an à la carte menu of hot dishes made to order.

Service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and the pace was just right. With a two-month-old in tow, those small details mattered: seating arranged around the pram, coffee brought promptly, and a general sense that nothing was too much trouble.

AN AFTERNOON TO END ON A HIGH

In the heart of the resort lies The Pearl Spa and Wellness Jumeirah, offering exactly the kind of pause we needed. On our second day, we booked a tandem experience – a massage for Dad and a facial for Mum. The setting alone was calming, with natural light, soft music, and therapists who made the entire experience feel genuinely restorative.

With ten treatment rooms, a tranquil indoor pool, and modern wellness facilities, the spa lives up to its promise: to restore balance, replenish energy, and leave a lasting sense of calm well beyond check-out.

To round off the afternoon, we headed to Shai Salon for Afternoon Tea. Delicate savoury bites and miniature pastries that looked almost too perfect to eat (but didn’t stand a chance) made for a fitting finale to a stay that had already exceeded expectations.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Four Seasons Jumeirah didn’t just deliver a luxury stay, it delivered something far more meaningful: a sense of comfort, care and welcome. What struck us most wasn’t just the beachfront setting or the standout dining, but how naturally the hotel embraced families. Every interaction felt personal, every detail thoughtful.

It never felt like children were simply accommodated, they were genuinely welcomed. From the attentive beach team to the meaningful touches in our room, we felt supported throughout. For our first trip as a family, it wasn’t just a holiday – it was a beautifully seamless experience that set the bar remarkably high.
